MATEK is an interior design and turnkey execution practice based in Hyderabad.
Who we are
Drawings are easy. Delivery is the job.
Anyone can render a beautiful room. The difficulty is getting that room built — on schedule, at the quoted price, with the reveal lines where the drawing said they'd be.
That is the part MATEK is built around. We keep design, joinery production and site installation inside one team, so nobody is passing responsibility down the line when something doesn't fit. It makes us slower to promise and considerably faster to finish.
The work runs from private homes across Kerala and Hyderabad to retail, healthcare and corporate fit-outs delivered nationally. Homes are where the craft shows; the large projects are where the discipline comes from. We take on fewer at once than we could, on purpose.

One price, itemised
The estimate is built from the approved drawing, line by line. If the scope changes, you see the cost before the work starts — never after.
Material honesty
We name the brand, the core, the thickness and the finish. If a cheaper substitute is being used anywhere, you will know which one and why.
A schedule with dates
Not "about two months". A dated programme with weekly progress shared to you, and an honest call the moment something slips.
Finished means finished
Snags closed, hardware demonstrated, surfaces cleaned, care guide handed over. We would rather stay a week longer than hand over a nearly-done space.
The process
From first conversation to handover.
Consultation
We meet at the site or the studio, understand how you live or work, and set a realistic scope and budget band before anything is drawn.
Design & 3D
Layouts, material palettes and photoreal 3D views. You see the space before a single panel is cut, and we iterate until it is right.
Costing & Sign-off
A line-by-line estimate against the approved drawings. No hidden heads, no mid-project surprises — you approve what you are paying for.
Production
Joinery is built to drawing in a controlled workshop while civil, electrical and false-ceiling work runs in parallel on site.
Installation
A single site supervisor coordinates every trade, with weekly progress shared to you directly so the schedule stays visible.
Handover & Care
Snag list closed, finishes cleaned, hardware demonstrated, and a written care guide for every material in the house.
